The Ministry of Interior has denied the news circulated by some media outlets about the storming of the headquarters of the Presidential Council by an armed group.

The ministry called on the media to be more accurate and credible in their coverage, insisting that there are no security breaches what so ever and conditions in the capital are under control.

Social media pages circulated news that an armed group from Tripoli Revolutionaries’ Brigade stormed the headquarters of the Presidential Council and took over control after the report of the Audit Bureau, which included serious accusations of corruption and waste of public money by the government of the Presidential Council.
