The Anti-Illegal Immigration Agency has transferred a group of illegal immigrants from Sikka Centre to Al-Sabaa immigration shelter, east of Tripoli.

It attributed the step for the overcrowding of the Sikka centre, after receiving around 500 migrants in the last three days with the lack of means, including blankets and clothes, according to its Facebook page.

Sikka Illegal Immigration Centre received 107 migrants on Sunday after being rescued by Libyan Coast Guard forces near the city of Zuwara.
