The House of Representatives (HoR) has issued a law amending the provisions of social security by extending the retirement age to 70 years old.
Persons who have reached the age of retirement may continue to serve or work until they reach 70 years, according to the Libyan News Agency.
The law required the applicants to have sufficiently healthy physique, while adhering to the other legally established conditions for remaining in the service, working or being appointed in.
