The head of the High Council of State, Khalid Al-Mishri said that the constitution and the obstacles hindering the referendum are some of the challenges that face the National Conference.
In his speech during a symposium on the National Conference that was held by the HCS Tuesday at Waddan Hotel in Tripoli, Al-Mishri emphasized their keenness to build a shared vision based on general principles, most notably, Libya is a democratic country in which the peaceful transfer of power, free elections and a constitution chosen by the people, are the cornerstone of its system of governance, adding that the UN mission should be clear on this matter.
