The German Wintershall Company handed over Tuesday an integrated sewing factory to the Jalu Civil Society Commission through the sustainable development project launched by the National Oil Corporation (NOC).

The Director of the Commission in Jalu, Ghazlan Bashir, said the workshop consists of 70 sewing machines that will be installed by the supplier company.

"The new factory will provide job opportunities for many housewives and develop local production for all women in the region," said Bashir.

The NOC revealed that it has plans for implementing other projects in various fields in the framework of its sustainable development program.
