The Director of the Information Department of the General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL) Mohammed al-Takouri, said Saturday that the maintenance teams of the company were not able to access the districts of clashes southeast of Tripoli to repair the damaged circuits in the area.

In a press statement, Al-Takouri explained that there are five circuits out of service now following the damage of the 220-volt circuit that feeds the districts of Al-Hadaba and Ein Zara, noting that this malfunction will affect the performance of the network and increase the hours of load shedding.
