Security forces in Al-Zawiya on Saturday caught a group of foreign workers smelting large quantities of copper cables at a farm in the Harsha area in Zawiya city west of Tripoli.
The General Administration of Central Support confirmed that those involved were referred to the competent authorities as soon as they were arrested.
The head of the Administrative Affairs Office in the Central Support Branch, Abdul Rahman Manita, said they would continue efforts to confront the outlaws and called on citizens to report any violations or legal abuses that affect public services.
