The Director of the Information Office of Misurata Airport Sulaiman Al-Juhaimi said that they have provided transport services to areas and cities near Misurata for pilgrims and passengers arriving at the airport.

Al-Juhaimi confirmed in a press statement that there have been no delays in flight schedules and the work at the airport is proceeding as usual.

He also pointed out that the management of the airport and local citizens are setting up equipped and air-conditioned tents to receive the comers and provide all possible conveniences to their guests.

Flights to Mitiga Airport in Tripoli have been diverted to Misurata Airport since Friday following the landing of artillery shells near the airport.
