The spokesman for the European Union (EU) High Representative for Foreign Policy, Josep Borrell, has confirmed that the EU decision-making circles are unaware and haven't seen yet mechsims proposed by the UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres for a ceasefire monitoring mission in Libya.
Spokesman, Peter Stano, said Monday that the EU "is always ready to double efforts to help the UN consolidate the ceasefire and make successful political dialogues in Libya".
The spokesman said the EU works within the conclusions of Berlin Conference under the umbrella of the UN to help find solutions to the conflict in Libya.
