Member of House of Representatives for Tarhuna city, Abu Bakr Saied, has revealed that steps to unite the Central Bank of Libya have begun, adding that “the honest men will be the safeguard of the unity of the country and its institutions.”

On his Facebook, Saied stated that what he called the "corruption mafia " of politicians and others are benefiting from the state of division in the Central Bank of Libya and the collapse in the value of the Libyan dinar in the parallel market, accusing them of using all means to fight the efforts of bringing this institution together.

"Despite their attempts to disrupt our efforts, real steps to unite the Central Bank of Libya have been set in motion and there is no way for the train to turn back," he said.
