The Ambassador of Netherlands to Libya, Dolf Hogewoning, has expressed his support for the unification of Libyan state institutions.

During his meeting with the Fact-Finding Committee on Violations of International Humanitarian Law and International Human Rights Law in the House of Representatives, Ambassador Hogewoning reaffirmed his country's support for efforts to unify Libyan state institutions, and the role of the House of Representatives in this regard.

He praised the efforts of the House of Representatives to work on Anti-Violence Against Women Act.

The Ambassador also stressed the depth of relations with Libya, expressing his delight at visiting the city of Benghazi, and his first visit to the headquarters of the House of Representatives in the city, according to the Media Office of the House of Representatives.

During the meeting, they discussed the reports issued by the independent fact-finding mission established by a resolution of the United Nations Human Rights Council.
