Derna received a number of portable classrooms on Thursday from the Educational Facilities Authority to alleviate the overcrowding in schools in the city.

The project office of Derna explained that the shipment, which consists of nine portable classes is part of the educational facilities reform project for the current academic year to address the problems and difficulties experienced by some areas, including the city of Derna, pointing out that the distribution of classes took into account the level of actual need and student density.

Earlier, the Educational Services Department announced the distribution of more than 300 portable classrooms to most areas of the south, east, and west parts of the country.
