The head of Illegal Immigration Agency in Libya, Brigadier Mohamed Basher, has issued a decision to close four shelters without clarifying the reasons for his decision.

According to the decision issued on Wednesday, Basher ordered the closure of Alurban, Alkraimiyah, Mizda and Alhadba shelters.

Basher did not elaborate on the reasons for the closure of these centers, and merely described the decision as being in the public`s best interest as well as for better organizing the work of the Illegal Immigration Agency.

The resolution states that the general force of the agency`s members and the migrants in these shelters will be distributed to the other shelters under the agency and that all the mechanisms, ammunition and equipment shall be handed over to the Director of the Supply Department of the Illegal Immigration Agency.
