Death toll of Tripoli war exceeds 1000 according to WHO statistics

The World Health Organization (WHO) confirmed in its latest statistics that the total number of both civilian and military casualties of Tripoli war have risen to 1093 people killed and more than 5700 injured, since the outbreak of the war last April.

The WHO data shows that around 100 of those killed are civilians and around 294 of the injured are also civilians.

"A figure estimated at around 100.000 people were displaced from their homes," the WHO tweeted Monday, pointing out that the WHO crew are training Libyan doctors to meet the physical and mental health needs of the wounded and displaced.
