The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL), Saddek Elkaber, has reviewed ways to facilitate financial procedures for Bangladeshi workers in Libya during a meeting with Bangladesh Ambassador to Libya, Shamim Al-Zaman.

Elkaber received Ambassador Al-Zaman at his office on Tuesday, where they exchanged notes on several issues of common concern, including ways to facilitate financial procedures for Bangladeshi workers in Libya, a statement by the CBL said.

Earlier, the Bangladeshi ambassador affirmed during his meeting with Vice President of the Presidential Council, Abdullah Al-Lafi, his country's ability to provide Libya with skilled labor as Libya embarks on a new phase in its transition towards stability and development.

He also affirmed his government's readiness to provide Libya's health sector with medical and medical assistance.
