Belgian Foreign Minister Didier Reynders has refused to discuss the issue of freeing the interest and dividends of Libyan frozen funds in Belgian banks.

Reynders denied that any decision was made on this issue, saying that there is a difference in interpretation between the United Nations and the European Union regarding the frozen funds and dealing with the revenues.

The Belgian Foreign Minister stressed that his country will continue to freeze Libyan funds as it has always done.
