The Audit Bureau recommended the allocation of about 12 million dinars to reconcile and clean the electronic data of the civil registry.
In an official letter to the Presidential Council (PC), the Audit Bureau emphasized the importance of implementing this project for obtaining credible data that can be relied upon and fostering many national projects.
It also called for the program to be implemented through the Civil Status Department, stressing that the process should be nationally owned, in view of the importance and privacy of such data.
