Head of the media section of the Social Security Fund, Osama Zayani, reported that about 55,000 families have registered with the Fund as Internally Displaced Persons (IDP).
Zayani reiterated that 35,000 of those displaced families have been confirmed, adding that the remaining families are being assessed presently.
He remarked in a press statement, that the growing number of families displaced as a result of indiscriminate bombing at Mitiga International Airport and the residential area of Sharfa Milahi, has delayed completion of the necessary paperwork to conclude the registration process for all displaced families.
