The management of the monitoring and rapid response department of the National Centre for Disease Control confirmed that around 100 people have been infected after drinking contaminated water, noting that the country is free from any epidemics during the period from 9-15 September.

The department clarified in its epidemiological bulletin report that during the 37th week of the newsletter, which covers the period between 9 and 15 September, it was observed that the main causes of registered diseases are the upper and lower respiratory infections and diarrhoea.
