The General Union of Air Transport has reached a compromise with Libyan Airlines Company to suspend the strike that was previously planned by the company's 3 syndicates of pilots, flight attendants, and staff.

In a statement, the union explained that the suspension came as a result of constructive dialogue and negotiation with the executive administration as per the union’s laws, aiming at uniting the two parallel bodies of the company, which would help respond to the Libyan Airlines staff’s demands.

Last Sunday, Libyan Airlines' 3 syndicates held a meeting and agreed to suspend their strike and take up dialogue and negotiation instead.
