The Libyan Businesspersons Council said the Libyan-Algerian Economic Gathering is going to kick off on March 02 and concludes March 05 under the auspices of Algeria's Minister of Commerce.

The council said the gathering would tackle cooperation in economy and trade as many businesspersons and state officials would attend it.

The council Libyan and Algerian businesspersons will be communicating together and an exhibition for Algerian products will take place as well as may food, agriculture and medicine companies will take part in it.

Last January, members of the Industry, Agriculture and Commerce Chamber from Sabha snd southern Libya held an economic gathering with Algerian counterparts to showcase the investment opportunities in Libya's south.

The delegation requested the Algerian Ministry of Economy to reconsider the shutdown of borders with southern Libyan cities, saying they hope to regain trade exchanges on the borders with Algeria with the advent of Ramadan.
