Libyan Airlines has held the syndicates of its staff responsible for any material or moral damage might happen as a result of their planned strike on February 10.

The company explained in a statement on Tuesday that any strike might lead to the obstruction of private and public interests is a clear violation of the law of peaceful demonstrations, and that the company is not opposing the right of the employees to demonstrate as long as it doesn’t contradict with its interests.

"The company distances itself from the current political polarization," the statement emphasized.

Earlier this week, 3 syndicates of Libyan Airlines threatened to go on strike if the company's division between east and west was not ended.
