The Embassy of Indonesia in Libya held Sunday, January 30, a historical, creative economic and cultural heritages exhibition of the Asian-African Conference. The opening ceremony was attended by the Advisor to the Libyan Foreign Ministry for Asian and Australian Affairs and delegates from the embassies of Burkina Faso, the Philippines and Bangladesh in Libya. The exhibition aimed at consolidating diplomatic relations between the countries of Africa and Asia. The Asian-African Conference held in Bandung on 18 – 24 April 1955 became a very important event in the history of Indonesian foreign policy and a great occasion for the nation and the Government of Indonesia.
