Libyan revolutionaries, representing more than 33 cities and districts, held a meeting in Tajoura, Tripoli on Wednesday to reiterate their solid unity and to stress the significance of the dialogue as it is the only way out of Libya’s crisis.

Following the meeting, they issued a statement reaffirming their committment to the revolution’s principles and the Supreme Court’s ruling that ordered the dissolution of Tobruk parliament.

The statement confirmed that the meeting attendees decided not to agree on the UNSMIL’s amended draft asking for more amendments and for the replacement of UNSMIL’s head, Leon, who proved to be biased to one party over the other, as they said.

It concluded by reiterating the revolutionaries’ call for involving them in the political process as well as for keeping open links with the General National Congress, expressing thus their support for the fight against terrorism and extremism such as Haftar’s coup movement and stressing their rejection of any foreign intervention.
