The Minister of Social Affairs in the Salvation Government, Samira Al-Furjani, said on Wednesday that the Ministry would not be able to provide aid to the displaced families in Tripoli during Ramadan.

Speaking to Press Solidarity, Minister Al-Furjani indicated that the numbers of the displaced persons in Tripoli amount to 16.699 thousand families, pointing out that the 2015 budget assigned to the Ministry of Social Affairs has not been cashed yet.

She added that she is to propose ways to provide aids for the displaced families in Tripoli to the cabinet, highlighting that the Ministry is already assisting the poor and the needy families in Tripoli despite the troubled financial capabilities it is experiencing currently.
