An emergency meeting took place Wednesday at Abu Salim Municipality to discuss the ongoing crisis in the capital.

The meeting was attended by the Head of Prices Stabilization Fund, the Assistant CEO of the General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL), the Vaccines Director, the Director of Medical Services, and the Head of Tripoli Security Affairs, in addition to Tripoli mayors.

They all discussed the predicaments facing the implementation of their duties and suggested finding ways to alleviate the ongoing hardships that hit the vital institutions in Tripoli.

Tripoli, in the meantime, is going through long hours of power outages coupled with a severe shortage of baking flour and child vaccines.
