The Syndicate of Air Traffic Controllers has decided to suspend a planned strike following a meeting with the GNC Committee of Energy and Services on Monday.

The air traffic controllers set November 01 a day of indefinite strike over payment and conditions.

The Air controllers are also demanding to be affiliated them with the Libyan African Aviation Holding Co instead of the Civil Aviation Authority to enjoy better working conditions and benefits, deploring resolution 101 for 2014 which cancelled the affiliation.

The Air controllers agreed to call off the strike until their demands are met. They also agreed with the GNC to reactivate resolution 101, otherwise, a new company for the air traffic controllers, to be under the Ministry of Transport, would bet set up.
