A boy from Ghadames has invented a bed for persons with special needs. Anas Najm Eddeen Amzoraz, invented a special bed for patients with tetraplegia to help them depend on themselves in doing some of their daily routines.

Anas made the bed helpful in many ways as it has got an alarm bell to be rung any time the patient needs help, and it allows the patient to drink water by himself.

“The patients can also control the bed stature by moving it up and down as he/she pleases.” Said Anas Amzoraz, adding that the bed can include more features in the long run.

Anas Amzoraz’s parents are supportive to their son by providing him with all of the equipment and good environment he needs, knowing that he started his invention five years ago and took part in many contests inside and outside Libya.
