A group of young talented Libyans from Benghazi has developed an application on mobile phones that will aid and facilitate a better communication for the deaf and mute.

The application has the ability to read sign language and convert it into audio clips by using a sensitive electronic hand.

The developers aim to strengthen deaf-mute people’s dealing with their communication on a daily basis and to ensure that the voice of an important segment of people is heard.

They said the idea popped up by chance while sitting in a coffee shop when they took notice of the communication problems that challenge the deaf customers.
