Tunisian authorities refused to give consent for a friendly match between the Libyan national football team and the Palestinian counterpart, which was supposed to kick off Friday evening, for security reasons.

The Friday match was one in a series of the preparatory matches for the Libyan team as it prepares to play Morocco in the qualifications of the 2017 African Cup of Nations.

The Libyan team leaves Tunisia today heading to Morocco, where it will conduct a training camp during which a friendly match against Mali will take place on June 06, only six days before the match against Morocco on June 12.
