Al-Nasser won the preliminary round of the African Champions League 2018-2019 at Cairo's Petrosport Stadium on Tuesday, downing Hilal Juba of South Sudan 5-0.

Al-Nasser kicked things off with a goal from Ahmed Al-Haram in the 11th minute. Mu'taz Al-Mahdi then scored twice in less than ten minutes, before Saad Jabara scored a reverse goal in his net in the 37th minute.

In the second half, Al-Nasser appeared to have the game in hand after Abdullah Balaam shot the fourth goal in the 57th minute.

Then Mu'taz Benina set up the go-ahead goal just in the 71st minute.

It's Al-Nasser's first play in its history in the African Champions League.

Both Al-Nasser and Al-Ahli Benghazi are participating in the African Champions League, while Al-AhliyTripoli and Al-Ittihad will play in in the Confederation Cup.
