Libyan soccer club "Al-Ittihad" won 2-0 against Union Sportive de la Gendarmerie Nationale from Niger at the first qualifying round of the CAF Confederation Cup, thus making it to the second qualifying round to play Morocco's Hassania Union Sport Agadir.

The win for Al-Ittihad came in the second leg match in Tunisia after scoring 3-1 on aggregate, knowing that the first leg match ended 1-1 two weeks ago.

The captain Mohammed Zaaiba scored the first goal at the minute 27.

Toward the end of the second half and the match, Al-Ittihad's striker Mohammed Al-Tabbal scored the second goal at the minute 88, firing his team through to the second qualifying round of CAF Confederation Cup.

Al-Ittihad played the game with local players as it let out for free all its professional players as Soccer League of last season was cancelled due to the war on Tripoli and doubts about the fate of this season (2019-2020) for the same reason.
