Al-Ahli Tripoli drew Saturday Cameroon’s New Star de Douala 1-1 in Tunisia's capital as part of round of 32 of the CAF Confederation Cup.

Al-Ahli's Yehya Al-Zlitni scored for the Libyan team at the minute 20 of the first half and then the team had many mistakes done by the players - including a penalty given to Cameroon’s New Star de Douala but couldn't score it - thus receiving a tying goal by the Cameroonian team at the minute 62.

In the meantime, Al-Ittihad - Libya's second team at the CAF Confederation Cup - lost the match to Nahda Burkan from Morocco 0-3 after a remarkably bad performance by the Libyan players thought the two halves.

The second leg matches will take place on December 23-24.

Meanwhile, Al-Nasser won over Horoya of Guinea 3-0 in the round of 32 of the CAF Champions League, while the second Libyan team at the competition, Al-Ahli Benghazi, will be playing South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns on Sunday as part of the same round.
