The Libyan national football team plays its counterpart from Cape Sunday at the Talai Aljaish (Army Vanguards) Stadium in Egypt in the second round for the African Nations Cup qualifiers, Gabon 2017.

The Libyan team plays in Group 6 along with Cape Verde, Morocco and Sao Tome and Principe.

The Spanish coach of the team Javier Clemente said he would seek to win Sunday’s match to compete for the top of the group.

Cape Verde leads Group 6 with three points on goal difference from Morocco while Libya occupies the third place with zero points, followed by Sao Tome and Principe.
