The Head of the Libyan Football Federation (LFF), Abdulhakim Al-Shalmani, said that the date of the start of the six-team playoffs round of the Libyan Premier League will be from July 02 to July 17 in single round system.

Al-Shalmani said in a statement by the LFF that June 28 is the date for the conclusion of the second group matches of the Premier League, adding that the draw and fixtures’ times would be announced on next Tuesday in Tripoli.

The matches will be held either in Algeria or Tunisia depending on the inspection tour of the LFF in the two countries in the coming two days.

The Video Assistant Referee (VAR) technology will be used for the first time in the history of the Libyan Premier League matches, which will be refereed by international Arab referees in cooperation with the Arab Football Federation.
