The Libyan Football Federation (LFF) has named four clubs that will be playing in the CAF tournaments for the 2018/2019 season.

The list included Al-Naser and Al-Ahli Benghazi for CAF Champions League and Al-Ahli Tripoli and Al-Ittihad for CAF Confederation Cup.

The LFF said that the latest date for the clubs to present the necessary documents and papers will be September 15, so they can get the clearances and meet the demands needed as per the CAF regulations.

For the first time since 2008, Libya has gotten four places in CAF tournaments.

Meanwhile, LFF Secretary Abdelnasser Al-Sadiq invited the clubs to a meeting to discuss the 2018-2019 Libyan Soccer League and forming a premier league clubs association.

LFF set September 15 as the date for the kickoff of the league for this season, but the demands of the clubs urged for the upcoming meeting to dot the i's and cross the T's.
