Sources close to the Libyan Football Federation (LFF) have confirmed that it has decided not to contract the Egyptian coach Hani Ramzi as the Libyan soccer team's manager.

The sources reported that the LFF decided to keep the Libyan coach Omar Al-Maryami as the team's manager in Morocco-hosted CHAN in next January.

Al-Maryami has been coaching Libya's national team after the contract of Jalal Al-Damja ended. He was manager of the team in the final World Cup 2018 qualifier against Tunisia and recently in the CECAFA Cup in Kenya.

Last Thursday, the LFF said it was going to contract Hani Ramzi as the Libyan national team's coach in the upcoming CHAN in Morocco.

Libya's national soccer team is going to play a friendly match against Jordan on December 25 in Amman as part of the preparation for CHAN in January.
