The director of the beach football of the Libyan Football Federation, Mohamed Bahr, said that the Libyan beach soccer team is preparing for the Africa Beach Soccer Cup of Nations in Egypt, which will see the winners qualify for the forthcoming 2019 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup.

In a press statement, Bahr clarified that the Libyan team will play their first match qualifier against Kenya on the 9th of next September, while the return match will be on the 21st or 22nd of the same month.

Mohamed Bahr explained that they are studying the possibility of playing the return match in Morocco or Egypt, noting that the stadium to host the match is still to be determined.
