The Libya national team of Muay Thai (Thai boxing) left Mitiga airport Tuesday on its way to the Thai capital Bangkok, via Turkey, to participate in the World Championship which will kick off Thursday. 

The national squad to this tournament, which continues until the 23rd of August in Bangkok, is composed of five fighters.  Saleem Al-Nawaji for the 60 kg weight, Mohammed Al-Amri for the 67 kg, ‘Ali Grada’ for the 71 kg, Ahmed Al-Ghannai for the 75 kg, and Mohammed Al-Tabbal for the81 kg. ’The team is coached by Ali Harram. 

The tournament will also see the participation of the Chief of the Libyan Federation of kickboxing, Mohamed Zarrouk Al-Sharif, in the elections and meetings of the International Union for the game which will be held on the sidelines of the tournament, as well as the elections of the membership of the African continent for the game.
