Libya is to take part in the 11th version of the African Games scheduled for September 4–19, 2015 in Congo with a team of 60 of both athletes and administrators, sources in the Libyan Olympic Committee have announced.

The Committee said in a statement that the preparations are in the final stage to participate in this version, pointing that the team of 60 will be headed by Dr. Nour Al-Deen Al-Traiki, a member of the Libyan Olympic Committee and the Head of the Libyan Cyclists Federation.

Libya will participate in six different games including judo, table tennis, handball, athletics, cycling, and weightlifting.
