The Libyan national football team has picked Algerian city of Oran to host Tunisian counterpart in the second round of 2018 World Cup qualifiers.

The match will take place on November 11 according to FIFA website, but Algeria's Echorouk TV News said the match will be played a day after on November 12.

Libya has been banned from playing at home since 2011 due to the ongoing security and political situations.

Earlier, the Libyan Football Federation said the 2018 World Cup qualifiers of the national team would be played in Egypt, but it has not issued any statement about relocation of the matches up to this date.

Libya plays in Group A alongside Tunisia, DR Congo and Guinea with DR Congo squad on top of the group table with three points followed by Tunisia.

The Mediterranean Knights suffered a humiliating defeat in Kinshasa on Saturday after a 4-0 loss to DR Congo in the first round of the qualifiers.
