Libya on Thursday won two gold, silver and three bronze medals at the All-Africa Games, currently taking place in Congo, Brazzaville.

Competing in the 85 kg category, weightlifter Ali Al-Kikli lifted 197 kg in snatch to win a gold medal, bringing his total to 354 kg to secure a second gold.

Al-Kikli also won a silver medal for snatching 155 kg.

Morwan Al-Ayan also won three bronze medals in the 94 category.

The 11th version of the African Games kicked off in Congo on September 04. Libya participates in six different games including judo, table tennis, handball, athletics, cycling, and weightlifting.
