Libya has been ranked 105 out of 204 in the latest FIFA World Rankings for February, 24 places down from last month’s ranking. Libya, ranked 29th in Africa, were the worst movers of the month, with 324.23 rating points due to the national team's absence from international competitions and last week's friendly defeat against Egypt.

In the Arab world, Algeria came first securing the 36th position in FIFA rankings, followed by Tunisia in the 48th position, both moving 8 places down compared to last month's rankings.

The best FIFA ranking received by Libya was the 64the position in 2004, while the worst one was 184 in 1996.
