The Libyan Football Federation (LFF) has officially announced the signing of French coach Corentin Da Silva Martins, as a manager of the first football team.

The Federation presented Martins in a press conference in the presence of a number of media outlets, and announced that the contract period with the French coach would be for one year, subject to renewal, in addition to a salary estimated at 35,000 euros per month.

The LFF explained in the press conference that the team's calendar of preparations to participate in the qualifiers for the African Nations Cup and the African Nations Cup for local players 2023, will be announced after the draw of the next season of the Libyan League next season.

The LFF also decided to reorganize the technical staff of the first national football team after contracting with the Frenchman, as the Libyan coach Omar Al-Marimi was assigned the task of the assistant coach and former football player Ali Al-Aswad was appointed team manager in preparation for the upcoming match of the national team, including the qualifiers of the African Cup of Nations 2023, which will be held in Ivory Coast, knowing that the draw for the tournament qualifiers will be held next Tuesday.
