Libya's football Federation (LFF) has announced that a FIFA delegation will arrive in Tripoli on Tuesday night.
The LFF said in a statement on Facebook that the delegation will include the Swiss FIFA Director of Member Associations Véron Mosengo and the French Mohammed Taha, the member of board of directors of FIFA Member Associations.
"The visit will continue to Thursday and aims to support the LFF with FIFA assistance in fields like training and development, not to mention that the delegation will check the security situation in Libya so it can report back positively to FIFA and help lift the stadium ban that has been slapped since 2013," the LFF's statement reads.
The LFF also said that visit came after an official invitation by the Chairman Jamal Al-Jaafari; in addition to the chain of meetings and communications in Morocco, Oman and other places, which all paid off given the significantly good reputation of Libya in the regional and international sports circles.
The visiting delegation will kick-start its activities Wednesday morning by going to the LFF headquarters in Tripoli, and other commissions' buildings for the LFF, in addition to a visit to the Tripoli Stadium in the evening to watch part of the Al-Ittihad v.s. Al-Sharara match.
The visit will include also a walk through Janzour Academy Stadium, then it locks off Thursday morning.
