The Libyan Football Federation (LFF) executive bureau has contracted the Egyptian coach Hani Ramzi as the coach of the Libyan national soccer team.

Ramzi is expected to commence his tasks by traveling to Jordan with the Libyan team for a friendly match against Jordan on December 25.

The appointment came in a meeting for the LFF administration Thursday, when the Libyan coach Omar Al-Maryami was appointed as an assistant coach to Ramzi.

The meeting also reviewed the achievements of the Libyan local soccer events and other sports events both in and out of Libya, discussing new ideas to overcome hurdles facing the LFF.

It also reviewed the preparations for the second leg of the Libyan Soccer League, in addition to other sports events, let alone the importance of preparing the national team for the upcoming CHAN in Morocco.
