Against all expectations, Al-Tahadi from Benghazi has not only topped its group to play at the final of Libyan League's quadruple round but has also secured a ticket to the CAF Champions League after beating Al-Ittihad on Saturday 2-1.

The final match took place in Emssaed city in eastern Libya, where Al-Tahadi stunned Al-Ittihad and made it through to the biggest African sports event.

The first half ended goalless and Al-Ittihad gave a great performance in attempt to take the game to its side, however; in the second half, Al-Tahadi managed to score the first goal after a weak defense and clumsy goalkeeper's performance.

The attempts by Al-Ittihad players to tie the score paid off as Al-Ittihad scored at the minute 78 of the match, however; their offensive tactics left many defense gaps and Al-Tahadi's Amer Al-Tawerghy was lucky enough to score the winning goal at the last minute of the game, sending his team to the CAF Champions League for the first time in their history.
