Al-Naser won 1-0 over Al-Ahli Benghazi at Benina stadium in Benghazi on Friday as part of the second round of the second leg matches of the Libya Soccer League’s round-of-four.

Al-Naser’s Khalid Majdi scored the winning goal at the minute 70 of the match after several attempts on both sides to win the game.

After the goal, the match stopped for 30 minutes over the exaggerated celebration of the goal by Al-Naser players and the entrance of some fans, not to mention that the players quarreled on the pitch leading to a red card for Al-Naser’s Abdullah Belem and Al-Ahli’s Farouq.

In a second derby, Al-Ahli Tripoli won 3-2 over Al-Ittihad at Tripoli stadium.

Ahmed Al-Tarby scored for Al-Ittihad first, then Al-Ahli Tripoli scored three consecutive goals before Al-Ittihad scored a second goal by Al-Samani Al-Sawi.

Al-Naser thus tops the round with 8 points and needs a win over Al-Ittihad in the next match to hold the title of the league. Al-Ahli Benghazi came second after the match with 7 points, Al-Ahli Tripoli third with 6 points and Al-Ittihad fourth with 5 points.
