Al-Ittihad has won the Libya Handball Cup after beating Al-Najma at the final in Al-Madina Al-Riyadiya Hall in Al-Bayda, eastern Libya.
Al-Najma started the match with a strong performance and scored the first goal in the very first seconds of the first half, but Al-Ittihad later took control of the first half to end it 11-5.
The second half of the final match was no different as Al-Ittihad kept its high performance until it finished the game with 13 goals gap (27-14).
The Libyan Handball Federation decided to hold the Premier Super Cup match in December, one week before the new season of the Libyan Handball League.
Al-Ittihad was crowned champion of this season's Handball League in Gharyan.
