Libya's Al-Ittihad has qualified to the final of the Arab Handball Championship in Sfax, Tunisia after beating Al-Ahli from Saudi Arabia 28-21 in the semifinal.

Al-Ittihad finished the first half of the semifinal match 17-10 and then continued its remarkable performance to win the game and achieve a victory for itself and the Libyan Handball sport.

On Sunday, Al-Ittihad will play Qatar's Al-Gharafa, which won the semifinal against host Saqiyat Al-Zayt.

Out of six matches, Al-Ittihad lost two to Al-Ittihad from Saudi Arabia and the Tunisian Saqiyat Al-Zayt.

Libya's Al-Ahli Tripoli also took part in the championship. It lost four matches and drew in one to leave the tournament empty-handed.
